Nice post. You’ve humanized Andy in five paragraphs and given a great insight into what’s really happening behind the “rebellion.” Of course brilliant students have been promoted by the ruling class to do their bidding throughout human history. It’s very encouraging that the Andy McAfees of the world can gain the influence they deserve even without that patronage. The story of how you first became known to Andy supports that. Anyone with something to say and willing to say it can, more and more, get in on the conversation.
