Thanks for the update Steve! For those of you using the site during the week, please post to this thread (or elsewhere as you see fit) your thoughts related to the new functionality. We'd love some feedback from the user community, and it would help us to prioritize any fixes/updates for the upcoming release.

The performance improvements are noticable, and and annoying bug has been eliminated (often when I'd post a reply, I'd just get "error on page" and would have to keep trying the post until it took). But again, it is the speed of change that I'm most impressed by - if the team can keep that momentum, all the requested functionality will be in place within a couple of weeks!

That might already be there, but it's not readily apparent to me other than maybe looking at the TAGs and that is not always a good way.

As for your question, you're right - currently, the best way to decipher your location is to look at the tags. You can tell if a conversation is part of a group as the tag will have the 'group' icon on the parent conversation, as opposed to a regular tag which will just display the name of the tag. The 'lock' icon indicates that the conversation is secured somehow, either within a private interest group, or some other 'secure' tag (such as nGeneraLock).
However, as you point out, this is less than ideal. We've logged a bug in our tracking system to address this specifically with conversations that are part of a group. If you have any thoughts on how to better visually signify the link between a conversation and an Interest Group to which it is linked, we'd love to hear it.
