Some long lines reported in Austin area for new iPhone

 

The new Apple iPhone 3G went on sale Friday morning, prompting lines at the Apple store at Barton Creek mall in Austin. Steve Elmore uses his Mac book Air while waiting in line to get into the store. The mall opened it's doors at 6:00 a.m. to let people get in line. In Central Texas, hundreds have been reported at the Apple Stores at Barton Creek Mall and the Domain, and the AT&T store on Research Boulevard. MORE UPDATED
