Marilyn, Sorry it took so long to get time to both do it justice, and have some fun with it.  I really do appreciate your replies.

Ah, so many challenging aspects you bring! I agree, there is value, unrecognized by this set of  imagined Hub addon software, in any contribution to a collaboration SITE, as long as it is in line with the objectives and factually accurate, even if not read by anyone for years; because, it may be found to be very valuable years later, when someone really needs it.

I also admit to the wealth of applicable truth in the writings you prescribe, and that I am to some degree a product of that "prevailing system of management" and of an elitist streaming school system, and had culled my readings too narrowly by the "red flags" associated to "Deming and Senge" by others, and (please forgive my indulgence in metaphor) could grow from the whey of that cup of thought.

Superficial points first:  I think your first question was good, but not so applicable to my construct in 2 ways: First, the issues I am trying to address are about motivating business productivity in the collaboration mechanisms of the "Learning Organization".  Second, my proposal included that a person's credibility rating ("HI-Q") will grow just by their contributing things that are not reviewed, even if there are no replies.  What I now see that I missed was that they should be credited for sharing, even if no one reads, and probably even if someone successfully challenges the item's validity, because starting or contributing to dialog is inherently valuable, as long as it does not attempt to tear down the sense of the "safeness" of the forum.  I am enriched by your correction, :) a poster child for how the Hub should work. Thanks.

Your reply tells me I might get more collaboration on discovering a new improvement which I believe is waiting for us, by backing away from details and describing the background of my theories on this.  (note: I hope you have and enjoy lots of reading time, and will at least skim this, and I wish that you might read it and tear it to pieces, and help me find the good bits in the batch, because I value learning over gratitude. :) )So, Please, Pretty Please, when you find the time, follow this link to where I put a brain dump on this: http://www.bsgalliance.com/convs/show/4351-merit-value-based-filtering-5-star-ratings-and-hi-q-scoring

Thanks.
