Dark Chocloate Carrots

Yes, Incentives. :) Thanks for being one of those who thrives in what we know to be a lively but safe knowledgebase. But there are so many who do not get engaged, and the content they need is just not there for them when they need it, so they continue to go it alone, never contributing when they do have time, because they don't believe anyone will care or benefit if they did.
There are 5 more Poll questions (maybe I'll just post them), each adding more chocolate to the carrot, that then, I think, will finally address the 2 dimensions of knowledgebase content motivation that are the valid concerns of those from old school managers to hard working on-site developers: 1. The search for Quality instead of Quantity of content. 2. The Fun of friendly competition in a game with both Goals and Rules - like an on line build-a-village-and attack-the-world game where you know the priorities of the game, that everyone shares, and you know the rules, and how to form alliances to build, attack and defend; and, you want to PLAY. :)
Did you read this post? http://www.bsgalliance.com/convs/show/4015-wish-list-item-for-e-laborate-power-to-the-participants I would like your feedback on that.
Thanks!
