How should we promote Vaughan Merlyn's podcast? by Barbara McGill on Feb 28, 2008 - 04:51 PM read 72 times |
Vaughan Merlyn was recently interviewed by Tom Parish of Enterprise Leadership. They created a podcast that is posted on the Enterprise Leadership website http://tinyurl.com/2e45vf .
We are looking for ideas on ways to use this to promote BSG and Vaughan.
For example:
1. Put the link up on our BSG Websites (BSG Alliance and BSG Concours)
2. Put the link in next week's deck for the final WebEx conference for the RLT research and into the email invitation to theat event
3. Add to Vaughan's blog (that gets 100-150 readers/day)
4. Send this to current RM PDP participants as an intro to Vaughan
5. Send to past RM PDP participants (who have seen Vaughan) and their sponsors as a way to connect.
6. Share it with the IT LDP and IT LDP Alumni groups
7. Share it with the NGE Strategy group
An additional benefit is that it will show them the Enterprise Leadership site which is a good IT website resource for them to see. This would make the EL people happy and then they would be willing to do more podcasts with us (for free).
Other ideas?

My initial reaction was that Vaughan needs no marketing . . . he just is. Having said that, might we link to it through the other networking sites we are all involved with (facebook and linkedin)? Should she be inclined, certainly Susan S's blog would be another great place to mention it. -
Adding Tammy's interview on Forbes.com

by Barbara McGill on Feb 29, 2008 - 11:45 AM read 39 timesWe should send the link to Tammy's interview on Forbes.com, Forbes.com, out with the link to Vaughan’s podcast! Many of our participants have seen both Vaughan and Tammy. And this way Forbes is promoting Tammy’s book instead of us.
