Here is a list of some of the tools that George and I have utilized over the years. This conversation will serve two purposes.
1. General info for anyone who is interested in some of the tools we have used.
2. As George and I integrate ourseves (and our past work) into BSG Alliance, we have to figure out what licenses we have, and what the future of these tools will be.
| Area | Current Tool and Version | Potential Future Tool (or version) | Notes |
| Mathematics, Simulations and Simulation Managememt | Mathematica 6.0 | Mathematica 6.0; Wolfram Workbench | |
| Web Deployment | WebMathematica | WebMathematica | We've deployed many simulations over the web and many of the other apps listed here can be deployed over the web. WebMathematica allows us to deploy Mathematica apps over the web. |
| Web Services | We've done some investigative work with various Web Services but have not settled into any specific tools. | TBD | |
| System Dynamic Simulations | Powersim Studio Expert 2003 | Powersim Studio Enterprise 7; Powersim Studio SDK 7. | Powersim can do Monte Carlo and other stochastic simulations as well. SDK/Enterprise will let us build stand-alone apps and connect to live DBs. Expert will only integrate with Excel. |
