It looks like the IBM Mashup team has made significant improvements since the last time I looked at their products (last time it was not usable).

It still does not seem simple enough for most of our users.  But it is headed in a promising direction as far as functionality goes.  This video leaves many questions, but at least it is free to try out.

Here is the site they mention in the video if you want to try it.

Nice, Alan...thanks for bringing that to our attention.  I kinda like the whole "widget" concept.  Perhaps between Mathematica and OL, we have the necessary ingredients to do this same  sort of thing in a future release of nGen Analytics?

This is the first time I've seen IBM's mashup tool, and I must agree with you with respect to general usability. For example, the fact that a user must launch a 'Data Viewer' widget for each data retrieval widget doesn't strike me as intuitive.

Clean and easily navigable UI is imperative for 2.0 apps, and I'm very encouraged by the next generation of wireframes for our next generation platform that powers next generation enterprises :)

Understanding that these mock-ups are in a state of perpetual evolution...mazel, good things!
